About

Cameron Norrie has been representing Great Britain since 2013, having spent most of his junior career in New Zealand where he grew up.

Since turning pro in 2017, Norrie has continued on an upward trajectory, rising through the ATP rankings and achieving a career-high of world No.8 in 2022 – becoming the fourth British male to break into the ATP Top 10.

Norrie has picked up five ATP singles titles, one ATP doubles title and seven ITF titles throughout his career so far, with his triumphant win at the 2021 Indian Wells Masters being his biggest accomplishment to date. Norrie has also become an established addition to Great Britain’s Davis Cup team, having represented his nation in nine ties.

He is supported by the LTA Men’s Elite Programme – which aims to deliver support for the highest performing British tennis players, who are targeting major tournament success.

  • Family: Father is called David (who is Scottish) and mother is called Helen (who is Welsh). Both were born in Great Britain and played squash to university level before moving to New Zealand. His sister is called Bronwen.

He grew up in New Zealand and began playing tennis in his driveway at age six, after his mum introduced him to the sport.
