August

Glasspool reunited with Heliovaara for the US Open where the pair knocked out John Peers and Marcelo Melo 6-4, 7-6(4) in the first round.

Closing out his US Open preparations, Glasspool reached the final of Winston-Salem with fellow Brit Neal Skupski, but finished runners-up to Jackson Withrow and Nathaniel Lammons 6-3, 6-4.

Glasspool and Heliovaara then moved on to the Citi Open where they reached the semi-final of the ATP 500 event. The pair faced singles stars Mackenzie McDonald and Ben Shelton but missed out on a spot in the final in a 3-6, 6-3, 12-10 loss.

July

Glasspool joined forces with France's Nicolas Mahut for the men's doubles at The Championships, Wimbledon where they sailed through to the second round after a 6-4, 7-6(4) victory over Andrey Golubev and Maxime Cressy, before being knocked out in three sets by David Pel and Reese Stalder in the second round, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(7).

June

Onto the grass court season and Glasspool teamed up with fellow Brit Dan Evans for the cinch Championships doubles event where they reached the quarter-final before losing out to eventual champions Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek 6-4, 6-4.

May

Glasspool and Heliovaara claimed a fourth ATP Challenger title together at the Bordeaux Challenger. The British, Finnish duo embarked on a dominant run in France, where they rounded off the week with a commanding 6-4, 6-2 win over third seeds Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul in the final and built up some confidence ahead of the French Open.

April

Glasspool and Heliovaara made it back-to-back Masters 1000 quarter-finals in Monte Carlo where they missed out on a spot in the semis after a 6-2, 7-6(3) defeat to Romain Arneodo and Sam Weissborn.

The British, Finnish duo then progressed to the semi-finals in Barcelona where they just missed out on a spot in the final to Marcelo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni, 7-5, 6-4, 10-7

March

Glasspool and Heliovaara went on to make it to their 10th final together at the Dubai Duty Free Championships.The third seeds breezed through the opening rounds in straight sets, before eventually losing out to French, American duo Fabrice Martin and Maxime Cressy 7-6(2), 6-4 in the final.

They then went on to make the quarter-finals at Indian Wells, where they faced France's Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Mexico's Santiago Gonzalez. In a tight three-set battle the British, Finnish duo eventually ended up bowing out of the tournament in a 2-6, 6-2, 10-7 defeat.

From one Masters 1000 to another, Glasspool and Heliovaara then headed to Miami where they reached the quarter-final - bowing out to American duo Jackson Withrow and Nathaniel Lammons 7-6(3), 3-6, 11-9.

January

Glasspool started his year with his third ATP title alongside doubles partner Heliovaara in Adelaide. Their title-winning start to the year saw Glasspool beat fellow Brit Jamie Murray and new doubles partner Michael Venus in a 6-3, 7-6(3) final victory.

The pair then went on to reach the semi-final of the Adelaide International 2 event before being defeated by Marcelo Arevalo and Jean-Julien Rojer. 

Glasspool and Heliovaara made it through to the second round of the Australian Open, but were defeated by wild card Australian duo Rinky Hajikata and Jason Kubler 3-6, 7-5, 6-2.

January

Glasspool and Harri Heliovaara won their opening round match against Federico Coria and Alberto Ramos-Vinolas at the Australian Open, but bowed out in the second round.

February

Glasspool and Heliovaara reached back-to-back ATP doubles finals in Montpellier and Dallas. They finished runners-up in both, losing a tight match to Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut in France 4-6, 7-6(3), 12-10, and then to Marcelo Arevalo and Jean-Julien Rojer in the States.

The duo capped off a strong month by reaching the semi-final in Acapulco - beating Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares, before bowing out to future champions Feliciano Lopez and Stefanos Tsitsipas.

April

Glasspool and Heliovaara reached the semi-finals of the Munich Open after a promising display against Filip Polasek and John Peers, but their campaign came to an end after losing 7-5, 6-3 to German double-act, Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies.

May

Glasspool and Heliovaara defeated countryman and world No.1 Joe Salisbury, and partner Rajeev Ram, in the opening round of the Internazionali d’Italia. They went on to successfully reach the quarter-finals where the pair lost 6-3, 6-2 to John Isner and Diego Schwartzman.

June

The British, Finnish duo reached their first ATP 500 final at the cinch Championships having defeated the world No.1 pairing again along the way. Having finished their semi-final earlier in the day, Glasspool and Heliovaara finished runners-up, losing out to second seeds Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic 3-6, 7-6(3), 10-6.

July

After posting a five-set win over Casper Ruud and William Blumberg in the second round, Glasspool and Heliovaara reached the third round of Wimbledon for a second time. The British/Finnish duo came from two sets down to level against reigning champions Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic, but lost 6-4, 7-6(6), 4-6, 2-6, 6-3.

August

Glasspool continued to rise through the rankings, reaching a career high of world No.31 after advancing to the quarter-finals at the Montreal Masters tournament with Heliovaara. However, the British, Finnish duo missed out on a place in the semi-finals after losing 4-6, 6-3, 10-8 to eventual champions, Wesley Koolhof and compatriot Neal Skupski.

The team finished August with a semi-final run at Winston-Salem, where they just missed out on a spot in the final against Hugo Nys and Jan Zielinski.

October

Glasspool and Helivaara finished runners-up for the sixth time this season at the Stockholm Open after losing 6-3, 6-3 to top seeds, and this year’s Roland Garros champions, El Salvador’s Marcelo Arevalo and the Netherland’s Jean-Julien Rojer.

November

Glasspool and Heliovaara booked their place in the Nitto ATP Finals for the first time with a semi-final run at the Rolex Paris Masters. The pair won two of their three Round Robin matches to advance to the semi-finals where they faced the Croatian pairing of Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic. In what was a hard-fought battle, Glasspool and Heliovaara struggled to find a breakthrough in the deciding match tiebreak and eventually bowed out in a 6-4, 6-7(4), 10-6 defeat.

Partnered with Harri Heliovaara, Glasspool started his 2021 reaching the final of the ATP Challenger in Istanbul in January and the final of the ATP Challenger Biella in February. The following week he won with Heliovaara in Gran Canaria at the ATP Challenger, and went on a roll winning the ATP 250 Marseille and the ATP Challenger in Biella in March.

Runner up in Oracle Pro Series in Ohio alongside American Alex Lawson in February.

Reached the quarter finals of the Nature Valley International doubles in Eastbourne and semi-finals of Surbiton Trophy alongside Dan Evans. Won the ITF $15k alongside Aidan McHugh in Heraklion in May. Runner up with partner Evan Hoyt in ITF $25k in Arizona in January.
