Edgbaston Priory Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Padel Coach to join our friendly experienced Racquets Team.

 

The club has just committed to three brand new padel courts, providing a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic coach to grow and develop our padel programme.

 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for paddle sports, a proven track record of motivational coaching, and a commitment to helping our members improve their skills and enjoyment of the game.


This role involves coaching players of all levels, organising training sessions, tournaments and events, while driving forward the overall padel programme.

We are a premier racquets and lifestyle members’ club set in 14-acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of Birmingham, with a vision to deliver exceptional membership experience which promotes racquet sport and wellbeing.

 

Our mission is to forge an inclusive environment that fosters a sense of belonging and creates memorable experiences, by investing in our people and facilities and encouraging innovation, whilst respecting our heritage.

•To grow participation and activity in padel, actively promoting padel to increase the uptake.


•Delivering high quality coaching courses to all ages and abilities.


•Effectively managing court bookings, ensuring there is a balance of availability for all members.


•To oversee and achieve the padel financial budget.


•Planning and execution of padel events, tournaments, and social activities.


•Deliver social padel to members throughout the week, including different levels of socials.


•Organising internal leagues and teams, providing an opportunity for members to play and compete.


•Implement a pathway of development and personalised goals for members.


•To drive forward Edgbaston Priory Club as the padel hub for the Midlands.


•Work closely with the Membership Team to enhance member engagement and racquets recruitment.


•Consistently foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all member.
