Martine is an LTA Level 2 Instructor Accredited Tennis Coach. She’s been playing tennis since 2012, following an accident in 2008 that fractured her spine in two places. She was encouraged by her therapists to play tennis to aid her rehabilitation and thanks the sport for fast-tracking her mental and physical recovery. She’s passionate about the role that tennis can play when we’re facing difficulties and is committed to supporting anyone who wants to play, no matter what their challenges.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
All coaches displayed on this tool are committed to delivering tennis to people of all backgrounds including disability, faith, gender identity, race, sex and sexual orientation.
